When visiting the Grand Canyon there is an endless variety of things to do, from bus tours to mule rides. No matter how long you choose to stay, there is something new to see or do.
Prices for activities vary. One of the more expensive, but fun things to try are mule rides. It is about $50-$1000 per person. You can go for a half day or overnight. In the canyon there are some cabins that you are able to stay at.
If you are coming for a shorter time, a bus tour or hiking might be the better option. These two options are the most popular and least expensive. The guided bus tour takes tourists along the South Rim. If you are interested in seeing the North Rim too, there are several trails that will take you there. On the hikes you have the option of a guided cell phone audio tour that can point things out to you as you go. |

To get a birds eye view of the canyon, you have the option of taking a helicopter or small airplane tour to see the North and South Rims. Otherwise you can see the canyon all around you from a look out point that reaches out over the Grand Canyon. It only costs $25 per car to get into the park.
For $150-$300 you can trips down the Colorado River. Starting in Page, Arizona a motor boat will take you on a 3-21 day trip through the Grand Canyon. For day trips, you can go white water rafting down the river. White water rafting is a fun and exciting trip the the Colorado River rapids. Although shorter, it is still very fun.
